As You Can See from the Photos above.
Stone Cross at The Present Has Been Left to Dramatically Deteriorated.

There Has Been a Fence Erected Right Around the Perimeter of the Main Building for Security and Vandalism Reasons.

Most of the Windows Have Been Boarded up.
Also the Growth of Ivy Has Virtually Covered the Fascia of the Building.

It Is Really Sad to See Such a Wonderful Building Left in Decline and to Deteriorate in The Way It Has.

I Myself Was Really Sad to See the Building in Such a State.
When I Visited on the 8th July 2006.

Also the Football Pitch As You Can See on Photos Is Just a Wilderness of long grass and Overgrown.

But I Still Keep the Memories of How It Really Was, When I Was a Pupil at: Stone Cross School from the Years: 1969 to 1974.

I Do Hope the Building Will Be Eventually Reoccupied.

At the Present Moment the Building Is Owned by: Persimmon Homes After Being Sold to Them by: Marl International in 2002, Its Former Owners.

The Building Has Suffered from Vandals since It Was Sold to Its Present Owners Persimmon Homes in 2002, and Also Suffered from a Fire on the 30th of April 2004.

The Present Owners Persimmon Homes Wants to Convert Stone Cross into 20 Luxury Apartments with Another 20 to 25 Mews Style' Homes in the Grounds.

Whatever Happens to Stone Cross Main Building and Its Grounds. I Do Hope Its Future Will Be Brighter Than It Has since 2002.

I'll Keep You Further Informed When I Get to Know Its Fate.

I Do Hope It Will Be Re-Renovated to Its Former Glory, So It Will Have a Useful Future Use.
